Enjoying so much enthusiasm for the films of Humphrey Bogart, it seemed only fair to share. So, I have cleaned, colorized, and built posters around stills for a few of Bogie’s best.
I hope you will enjoy these designs as a complement to each film’s iconic original posters.

To Have and Have Not

To Have and
Have Not

(1944)

This is my favorite film. By far.
Bogie plays the reluctant hero to perfection,
and Lauren Bacall illuminates the screen like no other.

The Big Sleep

The Big
Sleep

(1946)

Two hours of Humphrey Bogart spouting snappy dialogue while
solving a mystery, surrounded by beautiful women?
That’s two hours well spent any time.

Warner Bros. Pictures, Inc. Presents
Humphrey Bogart  Lauren Bacall in  “The Big Sleep”
with Martha Vickers  Dorothy Malone  A Howard Hawks Production
Music By Max Steiner  Screenplay By William Faulkner, Leigh Brackett & Jules Furthman
From the Novel by Raymond Chandler  A Warner Bros.–First National Picture

The Big Sleep © 1946 Turner Entertainment Co.

Dark Passage

Dark
Passage

(1947)

Clever use of first-person perspective, standout supporting players,
and that Bogie-Bacall magic turn your usual thriller
into something very unusual.

Humphrey Bogart  Lauren Bacall in  “Dark Passage”  with Bruce Bennett
Agnes Moorehead  Tom D’Andrea  Directed by Delmer Daves  Produced by Jerry Wald

The Treasure of the Sierra Madre

The Treasure of the
Sierra Madre

(1948)

Bogart goes bad for this masterful
exploration of greed, which mined
Oscar® gold for the Huston family.
