This cover marked my first adventure into colorizing photos, a labor of love in celebration of my favorite film. Eventually, I would like to re-visit the title with a whole new design, perhaps to accompany a remastered Blu-ray release from Warner Bros., should they wisely make such an announcement. Until then, I hope you will enjoy this cover, a simple design but one I’m still quite proud of.

With all of the dystopian sighs and snarls filling Terminator Salvation, it’s easy to forget the campy kinetic energy that started off the Terminator franchise. Dated effects, big hair, and disco age the film too harshly to allow it quite on the same level as its sequel, but The Terminator is still an amazing ride.
Your usual cliched metal background provides a base to this custom, but those who care to look closely will find plenty of little goodies lovingly added in. I hope you enjoy it.
